Right now, Maddie and Jane, Hector's daughters, are 11 weeks old. They have that nasal honking voice they get at that age and Jane, especially, is a screaming "Don't touch me!" nutcase.

They won't be babies much longer. On to naughty teenagers, especially the boys.Right now, Maddie and Jane, Hector's daughters, are 11 weeks old. They have that nasal honking voice they get at that age and Jane, especially, is a screaming "Don't touch me!" nutcase.

Wow, I bet that is a cute sight.Already the 11 week old Brahma boys are dancing for them. And they're doing a pretty suave imitation of their daddy, too.
Mine went out at 4 and 5 weeks.Well... the herd thing isn't working well in the big pen. I also realized that I have things in there for them to get under and behind. I think I'd have to remove all those to accomplish a good herding experience
So I just captured each one individually again.
Sheesh. I'm glad they will be big enough to let themselves out before too long. We're going to try to rig an outdoor kennel pen next to the barn that they can get into from their area. Right now the pens aren't in the best place inside the barn to make that happen easily. But I think we can figure something out.
They went out to their respective coop and shed in a pen temporarily. 1/2 are bantam 1/2 were standard with a few bantam roosters. They can free range now all they want but aren't too brave yet. I believe they are 6 weeks. There is a fence that keeps them in a certain area. When you say they "went out" do you mean to free range or into a protected run of some kind?
