The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

The girls are just lovely and Atlas is getting more handsome everyday. What kind of snake is that in the picture...and did the girls get it?

I have a mouse problem in my garden. Do you think rubber snakes will help?
Probably won't fool them for long. I keep moving those two around so they don't stay in one place.

I love a nice topline and underline - so far so good

that this progress continues!

I see Andrew lurking on the thread occasionally. Andrew, you really should post sometime! Hope you're having fun with those Rock chicks!

I am having fun with the Rock chicks. They still love being picked up. My son is going to love them. The D'Anvers are doing well also, though it took them a little longer to adjust to their new home.

Hey! I got you to make a post!

I can't wait till you tell me what your son thinks of them. The Rocks are always so friendly and fun. D'anvers are, too, but mainly they have to be handled when young and when I have multiple broodies with babies, I don't do that as often as I would with brooder-raised chicks. Those D'Anvers probably are missing their mamas, even though the moms were letting go of them and roosting away from the chicks at this point. Glad you decided to speak up-don't be a stranger!
