And the roo who will be pardoned from freezer camp. His name is Bubba I knew he was a roo since he was a chick. He used to run to me but is scared of me for some reason now. He almost died when he was young. As he was hatching a broody who was also broody in the garage hopped in her nest and broke hos egg as he was hatching. Anyways he is a Welsummer Black Aussie X. He is 19-20 weeks.

I love your pictures, no apologies!

What kind of turkey is that?

Chinese geese?

Today I dug the potatoes, and while out in the garden let the youngsters out to roam at will for the first time. They pretty much hung with the older girls, but my little roo was frazzled trying keeping track of everyone. Maggie the Cat was entertaining herself by suddenly jumping into the small groups, sending them squawking. And when we were trying to herd the last girls in they set up a fuss, which brought Mr Roo out in a flurry of upright feathers and fury. We were bent over laughing at him ( hope his ego was not too bruised!).

Thanks Cyn!! That turkey is a Royal palm Bourbon Red cross.
The geese r Africans. When that little bull was first born hos mom beat him and threw him against a wall and that is all I can thinks happened. His mom has fone that with all her calves and is evil for the first day. But if u stand with a pitch fork and put her in a pen with the calf she will take it.

Cat was having a game of chicken bowling. Finn does that on rare occasion but he usually just lays nearby and watches them. He especially likes to hang around the Belgian D'anvers for some reason.

I'm not up on my geese too much, guess I need to study breeds more on those. I love the turkey's coloring.

Good grief, weird mama cow behavior! Like some broody hens, they can be odd at times, I guess, like the ones who kill the chicks as they hatch or just afterward. Thanks for all the pictures! I love that you have such variety.

Oh...my....goodness! Lizzie was investigating the nests! 'Bout dang time, young lady! She's only just this week turning 31 weeks old.

Atlas was helping by giving her the guided tour. I need her eggs-I have literally ONE hen of my twenty-something hens laying at the moment.
