The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

It doesn't matter, since we actually have our own driveway, and so do they. If anything ever happened, we could each go to using our own legal drive.
Always helps to have a contingency plan.

Waiting on Nicole to come get the Brahmas. This heat has given me a headache, yet again. I wish listings had elevation on them. I can plug in the address on sites that tell me, but it takes time to do that, slows me down. The Seabolt Lane cabin is a tad higher than even we are. The one in Murphy is almost 1800 ft, about 100 ft lower than we are, which is acceptable, but I'd prefer 1800+ ft in elevation so the nights are cooler.

One thing I learned after taking care of my dad in his house is to look for doorways and bathrooms that will accommodate a walker or wheelchair. I know folks don't like to think about that, but might as well plan and be happy if you don't need to.

The bathroom in this house - my parent's house built in 1947 - is the typical 40's bathroom. Very small. We will either need to re-do it or look for a house that has a larger bathroom and access.

It looks pretty great in the photos! You can always drill your own well and opt out of the share.

Yes, if it's possible to opt out, I would want that to be a stipulation of the sale, that we could if we had a well drilled.

Do you normally have a garage? Do you want a garage?

We haven't had a garage here, no. I'd love to have a carport, but we're used to our cars being out in the weather.

The Brahma horde is gone! She took them all. Whew! My chick starter consumption here will go way down with only Jane and Maddie.
