The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I like the back splash and the might table. Glad someone finally bought your big dresser.

Thanks, me, too! She said she had a headboard to match it so was happy to get it. I'm happy for the room now. I love the taller chest rather than a wide dresser.

That's a gorgeous back splash. Night stand looks functional and is a nice style. :)

Thanks, Lisa. I like the nightstand. It's slightly taller than my other one and I love the open center between the drawers, makes it just a bit different than the rest. Seems a good balance in style between cottage and cabin.

That gap in between is where my book(s) that I'm currently reading would end up. I love to see something decorative there, but I know me....

I'm so looking forward to us getting up the initiative to remove the furniture from these small bedrooms too. The room is totally tight. It has the furniture that was there that my mom had in the rooms. Very nice, expensive furniture, but way too large for the area.

They had a fire in 95 and replaced everything new so she got some very expensive, well made furniture. Just too large for the space.

I like the hardware on it.

Thanks, me, too. Oh, apparently, I didn't wait as long as some people did. I think the salesman, same guy who we always buy stuff through, said that one man had been waiting for four months for his nightstand. There was no rush, but I'm glad I got mine within a month.

Oh, head on over to my Brahma thread for a funny story...

Oh, and we also ripped out the homemade-by-the-original-owner vanity in the basement bathroom and put in a used one (48" wide, with top and faucet still attached for just $40) that someone sold because they were remodeling their house. It fit in the back end of my Nissan Rogue, too! Would not have fit the Honda CRV because its seats do not lay entirely flat like the Rogue's do. Now, to replace the toilet and floor, repaint the room and put a door on the corner shower unit.

Hey @seminolewind send me your address! I have something for ya! You never answered your PM, woman.

Hi! I've been so busy packing . I sure have alot of chicken stuff. We hope to make the move next weekend (cross my fingers)

I signed to buy late September. I asked them for a closing date last monday, and they haven't moved their stuff out! Here I am with check in hand , the elder woman is moving in with her son, there's no reason why they haven't started packing a few weeks ago. You'd think they'd be anxious to get that check. What is wrong with people?
We are eating off paper plates because everything is packed. I even have a heater for my "florida" chickens if need be. I myself had to buy a few long sleeve shirts and some socks and real shoes!

Here we have put up some nice vinyl fencing, got the house painted inside and out, re tiling the hot tub, etc. So this house is ready to go.

I never wanted to move from here, but it's best to live near my daughter at this time.

I have a few that are having a rough molt. I haven't gotten too good a look at any of them in the last couple of weeks since I'm recovering from my knee replacement. I miss going out to take care of everyone. I'm slowly getting better, but am still tired, and can't stay on my feet too long. I'm not good at sitting around. Thankfully I'm improving quicker than I did with my other knee.

I did use my wonderful gifted knitted bag to take a few items with me to the hospital. It was just right size for it. Thank you again Cynthia.

My head is spinning from all the drama in your sons life. It's all too much for me. :th

I have a bunch that have been or are in a serious molt. First they drop all their weight and don't eat well, so i'm trying to entice them to eat and wonder if they're sick. Then they are getting sprayed for bugs frequently because they're shaking their heads all the time. But it must be those new pins popping out of their heads- new feathers on my Polish. It's probably irritating.
