The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

He's spending way too much of his time being concerned about what's going on with her. He needs to stop. I hope things go better for her, at least for now, until the divorce is final, and he has some time to heal, and get over her.

I think part of that is because they are still married, technically. He is a man who feels obligation even where it has been rejected. He has not mentioned her for ages until last night so a little setback is expected after their long history, I'd say. Yes, I agree that he needs to make not caring about her a new habit. He may be just monitoring the situation to see if she plans to show up on his doorstep in the next two weeks, thinking that because the divorce isn't final, she can just walk back into the house.

Maybe with him sending her more money, it will keep her there until the divorce is final. I sure hope so. When a divorce is finalized, it usually changes the mental perspective of things. It's like a weight being lifted, or a door being closed. It's hard to describe, unless you've been through a divorce, but it does make a mental impact on most people. I hope it's the same for Michael, that it closes out the chapter of his life with her, and he moves onward, and upward.

Good, faithful men are hard to find, but good women are hard to find too. It's a shame she was not more worthy of him.

I agree with everything you said.

Nothing on public FB since October

No more YouTube video shorts since three weeks ago, either. And the Instagram account that I was watching is non-existent now. Yeah, trouble in paradise for real. Just let it stay over the pond until the papers come through.

My chickens have been inside 24/7 for four days now due to constant cold rain. Today is supposed to be overcast, the high only getting about 5* above last night's low, then dropping. But, it's still raining. They're going through food pretty fast at this rate. I know a lot of people just let the birds have their choice to go out, no matter the weather, but I can't open the barn up and let all the frigid, damp air in and have wet chickens bring in wet on their feathers to make the dampness inside worse because of all the elderly birds I have in the barn, especially those with joint issues. So, inside they stay. This means a lot more $$ spent on shavings that have to be removed because of the dampness of just the air and their extra poop from being inside constantly. I hate these long, protracted rainy periods, especially in the colder air.
