It's been warm here, but is going to rain, and drop to 46 tonight, so later this evening I'll be putting up the tarps.

Poor thing, although he shouldn’t have sent the money maybe it will keep her away longer. , like two more weeks.I know, poor things. Most of my pens have a heat spot since most of my birds are old and/or arthritic, but not the Brahmas. And Cora is a tiny shadow of her former self, though her feathers are finally coming in nicely.
Oh, my son's almost-ex wife's fantasy world is crashing. Now, if she can just stay away two more weeks until the divorce is final. He somehow got into her phone and sent me the conversation.
Gist of it is that she’s PO'd that he hasn’t delivered on the home for her nor some other stuff she was expecting. She told him she doesn’t like it there anymore and she’s over all of it. She only has $300 to her name. He just sent her 1000 last week, her share from the sale of her SUV (that he shouldn't have sent). She’s already tired of being cramped in his parents' duplex.... and it goes on and on with some personal stuff she's very unhappy about. Yeah, we all called it, didn't we?

We are dealing with horrible air quality from the fire. It has been in the unhealthy range for a week. It has been bad.
Sorry to hear that. The only time I had pecking aggression was when I tried to keep mine in too one bitterly cold year. Now I open the door every day. Hopefully your weather improves quickly.Last barn check found a bleeding Maddie. Jill is mean to her daughters and them being locked in together for days doesn't help. It was supposed to be overcast today, but it rained and misted all day long and the wind was howling and the temps began to drop in the afternoon. Tomorrow, I think they may be able to leave the barn as soon as the ice I know will be there melts.
