The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I remember when my grandfather retired and had a lot of extra time on his hands. He started following my grandmother around, telling her how better to do things. She finally got mad as a hornet and told him she had been doing just fine for the last 35 years, and he could keep his suggestions to himself. At that point she managed to get him into a few hobbies.

I can just imagine!

I contemplate Alpacas now and then...….
Haha! Talk about special nutritional needs. But their hair is lovely.

Boy if we got into trouble over things we were thinking of doing, instead of just the stuff we did, would we every all be in trouble :D

Cy, that sound promising - a good referral is always reassuring. Maybe it will give Tom some hope, he sounds very depressed right now.

Wanted to go to applebys but oh no! My daughter says let's try Tuckers, it's just like applebys. Not! My first clue should have been not many customers. So we are 4 adults, 2 teens, and a kid. We order drinks. The soda drinks came out 10 minutes later. The 2 cocktails came out 10 minutes after that! The waitress brings warm bread and butter. A loaf about 2 inches wide and 5 inches long--for all of us! The drinks finally come and mine tasted like gasoline. Yuk. So I went to the bar aND got myself a margarita. The menu was kind of crappy and didn't have much choice.

It was awful. Hardly anyone in the restaurant and the waitress was Sooo slow. It was not a good experience. We would have had much better food and service at Taco Bell-really.

I haven't eaten taco bell in a long while but I read that they were the first to cage free all their chickens.
I'll take applebys over a lot of restaurants.

I would take Applebees if there was one within 40 miles of here, or we actually ever ate out. They had decent food, if I remember right.

Repaired saddles ready to use, and in need of use, thanks to Bash, Hector and Atlas.
The little silver one on the far left at the top that is not in the line-up was Gypsy's. I have no hen small-bodied enough now to wear it, other than maybe Tiny, and she has no need, not being with a rooster. Made me miss my Gypsy all over again, remembering that I made the saddle custom to fit her lean body.
