I hope the owner actually does something. Maybe they will, but being put on the spot, talking to a stranger, they weren't sure what to say.
If it was me on that end, I'd have felt inclined to at least apologize, but of course, if my dog was on someone else's land, it would be because of a hard-won escape, not because I was allowing it. He had no idea if someone up here was deathly afraid of dogs and he seemed uninterested in the location of his very handsome Shepherd. So, if he doesn't care, neither do I, and you know what that means. He's definitely in violation of GA and county law.
I wish I knew if he was renting or who he really is. The county still has that property owned by Mark Wilson, though he's supposedly deceased. Could be that Mark Jr has left it that way to take advantage of the tax break, but I have no idea. Maybe I should call the county to see who actually is the owner, but they may have no idea, either, unless their online records are just out of date.
