So, perhaps I am going mad, but I had to share this story. I am doing laundry in my garage where my incubator is (Don't worry, we don't open the garage door while the chicks are there
)
Well, I was putting stuff in the dryer, when I herd what sounded like cheeping and rattling on the hardware cloth. I dropped my stuff and ran like heck to the incubator. I looked in and just 4 eggs moving slightly (was just one). I scratched my head, like what the heck? i could have sworn it was a chick just zipped out and walking about. Well, Peepers, my 1 mo Pekin was sleeping in his box, so it wasn't him. Then thew wind blew, and I heard the garage door make that rattling sound ever so lightly like I heard and the darn birds outside started up chirping away again.
No pips or chicks, but now I have 4 moving on day 20, so I feel a little better. Now, where are my pips!
I hope this gives a laugh to everyone, and anyone like me whose waiting impatiently.
