The FAlcon attack

    The other day I had just let the chickens out to free range, then I heard noises. I raced outside to fine a falcon attacking Snow White my brahma bantam, I ran over and scared the falcon away, the yard was covered in feathers. Snow White is ok she is missing most of her feathers though, also she is shaking in fear. The other chickens hid underneath the hot tub shaking I quickly brought them int the coop and locked them up.
    Today I built a decoy it's a large fake colorful rooster, it seems to be working.

    you should plant bushes or hiding places so that they can hide

    Sorry to hear about the attack - hawks and falcons can be a real scourge!

    unfortionatly we lost a chicken to a falcon and another 2 to foxes
