The Family Bed

I believe that we may have taken the concept of the Family Bed too far. This morning I woke to find that my 9yr old DD had joined us as well as 2 very large dogs and 3 cats.

And the whole room smells like wet fur...

Thankfully the dogs and one of the cats were on the floor at the edge of the bed....my side of course.

I'm getting a lock on the door today.

We upgraded from Queen to King because 4 Jack Russels sleep with us, now that the bed is bigger, apparently the Giant Schnauzer thinks there is enough room for him too!

Wow, and I thought my two cats were bad. One sleeps on top of me and the other between my legs, so I am pretty much pinned to one position all night.... god forbid I disturb them!

This is what happens when it's cold outside and all the animals are in.... There is a dog on the floor in her room and 2 more cats around there somewhere....

my boyfriend used to sleep with his peacock under his arm and the peacock was just fine with it. The bird snored though I was forced to seperate the two.

My husband did! I told him the dogs had him trained right! I made them move so I could get in bed......
