The Fathers Day Hatch-A-Long!!! The Last Day To Set eggs Is June 3rd!!!!

My goose had some eggs explode on her a few days ago and she kicked one out of the nest so I candled it and put it in the incubator now it's pipped, which hopefully means the other eggs under her will hatch soon too.

And two of my RIR mixes. My hatch-a-long eggs are set to hatch today, but these three hatched late last night. Still hoping for a couple more from the other four eggs still in the bator

This little guy is supposed to be silver. He is so adorable. And so little, although it's hard to believe he managed to fit in his tiny egg.

THe 3 smaller blue eggs were from my young AMeraucana hen, as I remember.

And I'm very impressed by the huge blue eggs my EE put in the nest box. Very reliable girls.

The marans probably came from that small egg. My hen that lays the smallest and darkest eggs. THis is the first year those girls are laying, so I'm impatient to see what they produce after the next molt!

I have had a few hatch this week, too. Right after I mail those eggs to you I put the remaining eggs in the incubator.

You are so right. Hey, I might as well post some of your beauties here. The two marans are soo cute. The EE's too. They are bigger now of course. It's been about a week.

This one was a lot smaller, had to baby it for a while, but it's a lively little squirt now!


What a doll face..an EE, that came from one of the biggest blue eggs I've seen come from an EE!


Love the color on this one~thinking~boy. Came from one of the two smaller eggs. All of the rest were huge!
So there you have a few..I had quite a few hatch..it was a good hatch! Do you feel more like a grandma now?

All the babies are so very cute. Congratulations everyone.

I am so happy to say 2 of my BLB's have hatched and 2 more pipping. Have 7 more to hatch. So happy to see some fluffy butts and hear them peeping. I am hatching in egg cartons and its so funny to see the chicks sitting in the egg carton holes. They fit perfectly, to cute.

Well this is my first hatch I have 18 in my Little Giant Bator and I candled all of them today.(Today is day 5). (Set on the 3rd). Only 2 showed signs of life. That is fine with me.
