My goose had some eggs explode on her a few days ago and she kicked one out of the nest so I candled it and put it in the incubator now it's pipped, which hopefully means the other eggs under her will hatch soon too.

Quote: Yes, I feel like a grandma!!
THe 3 smaller blue eggs were from my young AMeraucana hen, as I remember.
And I'm very impressed by the huge blue eggs my EE put in the nest box. Very reliable girls.
The marans probably came from that small egg. My hen that lays the smallest and darkest eggs. THis is the first year those girls are laying, so I'm impatient to see what they produce after the next molt!
I have had a few hatch this week, too. Right after I mail those eggs to you I put the remaining eggs in the incubator.
I have a silkie, I have a silkie, I have a silkie hey hey hey hey!And two of my RIR mixes. My hatch-a-long eggs are set to hatch today, but these three hatched late last night. Still hoping for a couple more from the other four eggs still in the bator
This little guy is supposed to be silver. He is so adorable. And so little, although it's hard to believe he managed to fit in his tiny egg.![]()

This one was a lot smaller, had to baby it for a while, but it's a lively little squirt now!
What a doll face..an EE, that came from one of the biggest blue eggs I've seen come from an EE!
