EWWWW! Just googled it..and saw some mighty ugly duck faces..why? Why? And I saw some other things I didn't want to see. Why? Why?

I'll stick to looking up the real ducks and chicken pictures..that's just wrong.

Ooo, can't see it too well, darn! I am on day 20 for my Welsummers..come on babies..big eggs, so thinking won't see any action until tomorrow.

I stuck a couple duck eggs in the incubator. How much do I spray the eggs, and how do I avaoid hitting the chicken eggs?

Does the spray increase the moisture loss of the duck eggs, or decrease the loss. I know I read this somewhere, just can't find it.

Last q--as these are my own eggs, I have been incubating on their sides X and O style. I assume this is ok as I don't have a turner.

Need to go set 9 turkey eggs, and final turn for the day.

10 turkey eggs, a few FBCM and a few Blue AM/EE eggs+ the zillion other eggs already in = my last set of the year.

How quickly the chicks add up in the brooders. Most are for sale. A few I will keep for breeding stock.

Mine have all started at night too. By four in the morning I was a wreck. And at work the next day...

Leave me alone! Then to have it start again the next night!

Do you enjoy the bourbon reds? We had in interesting learning experience raising a Narragansett with the chickens. It was fun, but he ended up injuring chickens before he was mature. Right about Thanksgiving. Worked out well. Wondering about personality differences in breeds.

I know...I have this batch of CL and then another 9 in another incubator that just went in the other day....They are expensive eggs and I really want them to hatch and be healthy!

Want to hear every detail! I've thought about CL too, but decided I should figure out AMERs first, and they're cheaper.
