I saw Faaiza slink out and I closed my eyes, and opened them to what she was seeing. I could see her mind. I could hear her thoughts. I could see what she was seeing! I had practiced a long time to get this skill, and I was getting tired fast. I had never done this on another dragon before!
Whoa! Faaiza was thinking. What is that thing?
She was looking at Tayla and Rhylie, and, a shadow? A shadow with blue stars for scales? A shadow shaped like a dragon?!
Feeling exhausted, I pulled out of Faaiza's mind. My last waking thought was: Oh, Tayla's gonna have some talking to do when I wake up!
