Ooooh, it has been a long time since we had chicks (or chickens, for that matter)! DD and I are so in love with them, and it's nice to be able to just love on these four before the chaos of the big chick shipment arrives. We have 2 Easter Eggers, both partridge-ish, I guess. One is lighter than the other. I thought I would be getting two black Australorps, but I'm pretty sure one of them is a barred rock based on week-old wing feathers coming in. I'm too noob to post pics, but I'm taking them, and promise to update when I get a chance. For now I'll have to keep you entertained with names! I picked two, & DD picked two, and I hope none of them end up being roos. Guess I could always recycle names in that case...I recycle everything else.

Me: Meg (Barred rock, after Meg White of The White Stripes), Patchouli (darker EE)
