I got 2 more Black Spanish that hatched this afternoon.

Is the towel in there for extra humidity?

Yes it is there to boost the humidity. I place the folded towel under one of the vent holes so I can keep it wet without opening the incubator by using a measuring cup and small funnel. Just as soon as they hatch I yank the towel out and open both the vent holes and it drops the humidity for fast drying.

We removed them from the incubator this morning and introduced them to the rest of the flock in the brooder.

It looks to me like I have Black Spanish/Red Bourbon mutts. Anybody have pictures of these type of mutts grown up?
