Oh, okay! I was off by a couple chickens or so , how many chickens has chicken math gotten you to now?

I was going to start out with 3.
Then I wanted 4.
When I went to TSC, they said "the minimum is 6". Oh well! I brought home 6 chicks.
Now I have 8.
I used to have 10 but two passed away.

My story is similar, I got 4 chicks then 2 were roos then we got two more, and then my mom got three more, Then a coyote got them all. then we waited until March and got 12 chicks 2 of them were roos, then my dog killed four of the hens, so we got 5 more chickens two of those are roos, so now I am trying to figure out how to build a place for a bachelor flock because nobody wants my Polish cockerels in NM

I'm up to 78 chickens now... I need to start putting some of the older ones on craigslist.... If we're counting all the birds I'm taking care of... that would be 79 as of today... I rescued a baby barn swallow

Are you on a farm or something? Mine is just a small backyard flock.
