Rocket Raley, please feel free not to take Xplore up on her offer.

But please don't flame members of long standing (remember there are 2 message boards associated with BYC) based on your own experiences being scammed. Xplore is not asking for money from anyone. She has been a member of the original BYC in good standing for a very long time.

If you are not interested, move on.

Did you guys ever hear the commercial that says " a mind is a terrible thing to waste."? Just curious.
Now on to business. Hi Rocket, what's up.

I have a couple questions about your statements. Maybe you could help me.

You said: "I just don't trust out of the USA. I had an online business. And it was shut down by foreign customers. They would order, I would ship, they would collect according to tracking, then they would claim their card was stolen, get a charge back from their card holder which would automatically take it out of my account. But they kept our merchandise and there was nothing we could do about it legally. We lost 1000’s and we shut our business down. "
I know how you feel. Over the years I'll bet I lost ten times that in bad checks, sucks don't it. I filed a complaint with the sheriff and prosecuted these people. I collected about 2% of my money. These people all lived in the USA, guess I shouldm't trust anyone in the USA

You said "Call me hard but I don’t trust you. I have been on the web since it was in DOS mode and no graphics. " My first computer was a Radio Shack TRS80, I remember before the internet we had things called BBS. I guess I'm easy, I remember DOS. C

PRINT: I trust him. End.

You said: Each of the providers clearly shows on their registration that security is NO.
All I can say is

. WHAT???

You said "I don’t trust outside USA. (Especially to hand over my passwords) Granted there are criminals in USA, but in USA my DH has no problem jumping on his Harley with his club brothers and making a one on one customer visit about a problem." That is so cool, he jumps on his bike, rides off into the night gathering his club brothers on his way making visits to anyone that gives you a problem, how cool. Did he and his boys talk to the guy that gave you the bad money order for the boat. What did they say to him? Did you get your money back? How many of your DH's Harley Club Brothers did he take with him for this one on one visit? Wait a minute, if he went and he took "club brothers" wouldn't that be at least three on one? Guess you count different, must be that new math. Oh well not a big deal. Hey, maybe he and his Club Brothers could go out and collect some of those checks for me. They could ride into town on their Harleys with their colors on, maybe a superman cape or two oh, it will be great. Naw, I forgot myself in all this excitement, I'm a Man and I take care of problems one on one. Thanks anyway.

You said "I don’t deal with anything on the web that DH or I can’t go visit face to face when things go wrong." You met Nifty Chicken, the admin of BYC bet he's a nice guy. I assume you met him because you are posting here. With all your vast computer experience I am sure that you know you can get a virus from this or any board. You can get a virus just by opening IE (Internet Explorer, but I'm sure you knew that) If only you, your DH and his Club Brothers could find your way to Silicone Valley in California you would be able to buy software that protects your computer after meeting the developer. The rest of us just go to our local computer shop, but then we don't have all that clout to go face to face. I'm thinking it may be cheaper for you to just buy the software locally. Even though your riding Harleys which are good on gas it would be expensive for your DH and all his club brothers to ride to California. Besides gas you got food, motel (maybe his brothers could bunk together to save some money), something to drink and maybe smoke on the way, Harleys use a lot of oil wow it never ends. Just trying to help you figure this out. Wait, if his brothers share a room it might be hard to get them out in the morning, maybe just pull off the road and sleep under the bike. Probably safer. I got your back bro.

You started out so well "I don't believe I will try this."

Have A Nice Day

OHHH!

I did not make this bar to start any tiffs. I usually stay on the old BYC but I added a link into the toolbar for this BYC as I thought it would be a neat way to connect both groups a little more...So that is why I posted it here.

Nobody has to download it...Thats no problem. I understand that there are a lot of scams and viruses on the internet so you have to cautious.

So--Try it if you want...but...nobody has to...Just no fussing

Oh and RepoBob... Yes you can turn off the e-mail notifier.

Just click on the little arrow next to the nest box on the far left...Pull down the menu and select "toolbar options" Here you can turn on or off any features of the bar.

OOPS..I am wrong!...It states:

Cross-platform

Conduit works on IE and also on any platform that Firefox runs on: Mac, Linux and Windows.

So it does work! But you need firefox
