As soon as the chicken coop door opens, the stink eyes begin.

After the morning treats straight to the water they go

The girls don't want their photos taken.

Mr. Bee gets in a quick snooze

Two of the girls Lucy and Belle think they would like to take a nap as well

Charlotte would rather not have a nap

Rose is wondering what this is

Lily doesn't want anything to do with them

Izzy thinks it's finally time for a sleep

As does Thunder

Mr. Bee thinks it's time for another nap

And Belle does too

Silkies are such a hoot! Makes me want to get a few just for the entertainment.

All my birds have such big personalities even my partner has grown to love them though he thinks they are evil and are going to kill him lol
Oh I have a little cockerel I forgot to post a picture of.
His not in my good books he has started to bite me :/
Here's a picture of him anyways

How can he see you?

Reminds me of the time I brought home several research chickens. Two were roosters whom were called Moonshine and White Lightning. Since they were so inbred for research, they suffered from vision problems. These rooster were impressive to look at. They were tall, white, had really nice, long breasts, and massive legs. When they came after you, they thundered across the yard. Thing was they had a depth perception problem and if you didn't move they couldn't tell where you were to flog you. Or they come running across the yard only to trip, roll up to you, then act like they did fell on purpose. Oddly, they love to be held and liked to be carried. They lived to a ripe old age of four before their heart gave out.

It's mainly when I have food or treats maybe he can't see where it is and bites me instead.
His only 17 weeks old, I hope he grows out of it before I re home him.
His sweet and cheeky and seems to always get chased and pecked by the older hens

Cute Silkies. I love how Silkies can have such brightly colored ear lobes. I have never seen green ear lobes before , how cool!

I have a couple of chickens who have bad aim when accepting treats who would keep pecking me accidentally. I had to experiment with the best way to hold the treats for them so I wouldn't get pecked or bitten.

very nice looking flock you have
Thanks :D

Thank you, I don't know whats up with some of them having green ear lobes, they were blue lol.
I've tried different ways to give him treats, but he still misses and bites me, he ends up jumping on my lap and just taking them from my hand that way, it seems to work.
