"Good afternoon." Adarin chuckled. "You're gonna need to see Averett if you land like that anymore!"

"I know it. But I do usually land better, I really do!" She started, "It's the ledge's fault really. Had it not come at so fast, I could have handled it fine. It was like not there and then PooF!"

Silv shifted his position slightly, angling his head so that his ears might pick up more.
His eyes continued to drift between their on coming path and Lilith's direction, giving up on taking in the bleary scenery.

As they rose, the dragon scent grew stronger until, out of nowhere, the mountainside came at them and Lilith had to swerve narrowly to avoid it. In the thick clouds, it had remained hidden from view until they had nearly hit it. It wasn't long after that that the clouds began to thin out, they were nearing the top of the mountain. She landed neatly and padded into a small cave in the mountainside. "We are very close to Tenebrae's lair. Wait here." She told him, turning around in the cave and fixing her brilliant green gaze on him once more.

After landing just behind, he sat obediently, albeit slowly as before.
He met her eyes and gave her a short nod.

Satisfied that he would stay, Lilith moved past him to the entrance to the cave, her slender figure hardly coming up to his shoulder. She leaped out without another word to him and dove down towards the ground, disappearing quickly into the thick clouds below. There was the faint sound of her wingbeats as she leveled out, then nothing. The cave was plunged into silence.

In the lull of the cave he sat patiently, waiting.
Flexing his claws and listening as Lilith's wing beats grew more distant.

Tenebrae's four lemon-yellow eyes had a faint radiance in the darkness of the cave as he opened them from a brief catnap. He rose to his feet, his long talons clicking on the cold, hard surface of the cliffside as he ambled casually out of the entrance. Unfurling his thick, leathery black wings with their ends slightly tattered, he leaped off of the cliff, his massive figure falling for a moment before being caught by the tremendous updraft he stirred with but the mere flap of his wings. After he was airborne and riding the wind current, he soared above his kingdom, his eyes glinting fiercely under the moon's rays, which were filtered to an ominous glow by dense storm clouds that passed over it.

As Lilith decended from the mountain peak, she spotted his black form in the distance. She let herself glide forwards towards him, not in any real hurry to reach him. Once she had caught up to him she called his name and dipped her head respectfully "There is someone who would like to speak with you."

Karen noticed that the strange object had suddenly dissappeared and got a bit nervous. She got up and walked over to her kids, who were laying on the ground panting from wrestling with each other. She gingerly scooped them up in one wing and slid them onto the middle of her back, then she began flying back home.
Before she could get far, a massive black shape decended in front of her, raking his claws across her back and knocking one of the kids off. "Intruder!" The dragon snarled.

She winced in pain and reeled backwards; both to get out of reach and to protect Jason, the one who had fallen off. "What in God's name are you talking about?!? I've lived here my whole life! What reason do you have to just come and attack a civilian widow and her two young children?!?", she yelled. Though the mystery dragon was fairly large, Karen still stood a good 4 feet taller than it.

"Then you don't mind coming to speak with Tenebrae" He hissed, unfazed by her size. "Now"
