"Tenebrae is busy right now." He said coldly, his voice losing its silky touch "And if you don't shut-up, I'll have you wait even longer."
"Fine." she said before walking back over to her mom and brother.

"Tenebrae is busy right now." He said coldly, his voice losing its silky touch "And if you don't shut-up, I'll have you wait even longer."
Lilith stepped to the side to let them pass, her eyes flickering from Frostbite, to Silvanus, to Tenebrae and back to Frostbite again. She watched without speaking, her cat-like green eyes finally focusing on Silvanus as Frostbite gestured for him to follow her.
A smaller dragoness landed on the landing just outside the cave "Lord Tenebr--" She cut herself off, her cheeks flushing with hot embarrassment as she realized Tenebrae was not alone in the cave. "Excuse me..." She stammered, backing up and stepping outside the cave to wait for him.
Tenebrae curled his top lip slightly, the largest of his sharp teeth glinting fiercely in the dying orange light. His head whipped around at the sound of the timid little voice from outside. He slowly walked toward the exit and his nostrils flared, a small cloud of smoke rising from them. He peered around the wall and his four yellow eyes narrowly glared down at her. "Yes?" he answered her dryly.
"Fine." she said before walking back over to her mom and brother.
Christina flattened her ears and bowed respectfully, swallowing nervously before answering. "Lord Tenebrae, Jester sent me to find you, he said to meet him on that ledge over there." She gestured with her wing to a general location unseen in the fog. "But he didn't tell me why."
The moonlight danced in the fog, Tenebrae's glistening scales reflecting strange patches of light, his purplish figure desaturated to a dark gray. "Thank you, Christina," he said plainly, then as he unfurled his enormous, leathery wings, he gave her one last glance. "You are dismissed."
With that, he took to the skies, soaring above Mandalla in search of Jester.
Tenebrae turned his head slightly, giving Silvanus a sidelong look with his bright yellow eyes, his expression ambivalent; a mixture of both curiosity and suspicion. "Very well, then. Gilda will put your skills to the test tomorrow and she will determine where your strengths are, and what your duty within the militia will be. For now, get some rest." His sharp gaze left Silvanus as he called over his shoulder, "Frostbite," and was immediately greeted by a shimmering, pearlescent alabaster dragoness decorated elaborately with frills and fins, and even elegantly long hair in some places. Her mesmerizing chrome eyes met Silvanus's, not leaving the colorful dragon as she answered Tenebrae. "I know the drill," she said, beckoning Silvanus to follow her.
Silvanus's tongue flickered and his eyes trailed Tenebrae, till Frostbite entered.
He met her eyes and gave her an inquisitive look, glancing back at Tenebrae before standing and following the dragonness.
Gabriel rushed over to Amaria, rolling her over onto her back so that he could get a better look at her. As he stood there, the same darkness which had overcome Amaria began to creep across his scales as it had hers. He shuddered involuntarily and picked up the young dragoness in one, strong paw. He carried her a safe distance away from the metal piece and laid her down again. "Amaria!" He shook her gently, lines of worry creasing his forehead.
When she did not stir, Gabriel looked around fearfully, hoping that they had not been seen, and pulled Amaria onto his back. With a giant flap of his strong wings he took off into the sky, heading back to Pelendava as fast as he could.
