Jester could feel her weariness, it radiated from her like heat waves and bounced off the cave walls. He felt miserable, wretched even. She was afraid of him, that feeling was even worse then what he knew was coming for him in Caronia. He turned his head to follow her with his eyes as she left and sighed. This was it, the end. He had always known that what they had would never work, they lived on opposite sides of the world. Yet he still felt sad, empty and cold. For quite some time he had been living on the enjoyment he got from seeing her from time to time. Like a junkie who got high on drugs... but now the drugs were gone. Rubbing the back of his hand across his face he felt the red scratches on his cheek, they didn't hurt so much now. He almost wished they did, they were all he had left of her.
After sitting in the cave for a good hour he finally left, letting the familiar rush of air stream across his scales. The feeling was comforting, but didn't take his mind off Frill. One day they would meet again under different circumstances, perhaps even a battle. What would he do then?
(If he hadn't just tried to bring her to be tortured in COronia, this would be soo touching. *Tears*

Just one more mile... One... Mile... One... Frill told herself, although she didn't really have a clue how far she was from Avalon, let alone Pelendava.
She was wasted, physically and mentally. Her wings had taken a beating, she had lost quite a bit if blood from her injuries and was running on empty. She could just drop right now, that sounded good. Just let her wings bow to the wind and collapse like a broken kite. But no, she couldn't let herself do that. She had paid a heavy price and she was going to get her money's worth. Although she doubted the scales would ever be even, why couldn't there have been a compromise?
Where am I?...
While she had been thinking she had totally lost track of which direction she was headed, and how much time had passed. It didn't matter. Her body made it's own decision and the earth was closing in.
The trees were green from what she could see, no smog or stone. She was out of Caronia, well there's a plus.
Turkey.... She felt like turkey. *Smashel crashinesses, snapping tree branches, thud*
