My little freebie ameraucana. I'm almost certain it is a pullet! Be nice to have another blue egg layer. I only get an egg once or twice a week from Woman. She is the only other one I have, that lays blue eggs. Blondie lays me dark green eggs. Rori, Ruby and Goldie lay brown.

Previous eggs. When I still had all my hens.
My bums stashed these in the center of a thorn patch.

These 3 eggs come from hens out of Falkor. I no longer have any of his offspring. Except for Cassin and the 2 eggs under Rori.

My strange grey eggs came from Blue.

If I didn't have 2 kids and a husband.... I would undoubtedly make Finger a house chicken. This little boy paces the cage and chirps loudly, until I open the door, then he flies up on my hand for cuddles. He loves me, and I love him.

I think Noodle is a Mr. Noodle. But isn't he cute!? I just love the Mille Fluer poke dots coming in.

Let everyone out for a couple hours of supervised free ranging! They didn't want to go back to the run. Don't mind the burn pile!

Falkor is really handsome. Looks like he's doing a good job protecting his ladies!

He does a great job, 90% of the time he is on watch. The other 10% consist of dust bathing and eating! Lol

He really is quite striking! I just love his grey beard, and those two long tail feathers. I like to get a hold of him in the evenings and force cuddles. He absolutely hates it most the times, puts up a struggle, then finally gives in. He is slowly learning to just deal with it He used to be the devil... like right after testosterone kicked in! I was seriously going to butcher him, until he chased a racoon out of the coop during the night. Because of him, I only lost one hen, out of like 13. Rori had a clutch of eggs too, about 15 of them? Owlly, Cooper, and Blue was in those eggs! Sad, but majority of my girls was safe because of him! So he got lucky and has a "get out of jail free card" hanging about his head like a halo!
