My sweet Rori is healing well. I put her out this morning for a good dustbathing and some exercise. She doesn't enjoy being locked in a cage. She looks a bit rough. But her neck is healing up good.

I will do everything in my power to help this lovely lady. Her and Ruby are my only 2 original girls left. They are very special to me. I mean all my flock is special, but they are extra loved.

I have no originals left after 7 years but my Lilly would get the same treatment. She's not the friendliest of hens but she is still special and a real character. She kind of looks like Rori too.

My littles are growing so fast! I'm really liking the white frizzle. I only plan on keeping the pullets from this group. If the frizzle ends up being a pullet. I may rehome Gmork. I have the little blue silkie I think is a cockerel. Which I think will be a much nicer looking rooster when it matures. Hmm I not sure what I'll do! If I was to make a guess at who going to crow. I'd say my 2 standards, one of the seabright and the white silkie are going to crow. :lau
