I've spent the last 5hr in the cold, putting the coop together and pounding post in and putting fence up. My face may be numb, but I have happy chooks! They will be even happier when they come out tomorrow and have grass to eat!

Tossed them on the roost when it got dark. Wonder it they will learn to use it. I will probably mod it more for the silkies. Big Momma settled in nice, she only has a couple days to go before hatch date. Hopefully the move won't mess her up!

TBH I don't even want to know how much he actually paid for it. Because I'm sure it was pricey. (Meanwhile I want to already cut holes and add another window in) lol but my goodness I swear I lost a week or 2 between the last month. Seems like yesterday, I seen my chicken start to be broody. Now we are just days away from hatching time!

I went out and found a little boy! His dad was the wrong buck.

My little Cochin turned 4 months yesterday!
