Just wanted to share this with you guys...I had 5 OEGB, that I let free range from a very early age to see how they would do, needless to say, I found out my little dachshund likes chicken, feathers and all. This is the only one left...When I brought this Muscovy and it's mate home, this little girl just took right up with them. She follows them everywhere they go and sleeps with them at night. I have other chickens that free range, but she didn't adopt them, she adopted the ducks. It's so cool to see her running around with them, and they don't mind her at all! Thought y'all would get a kick out of it.
That is cute Krazy. We have a stupid goose that adopted twenty eight yucklings this spring. They never treated her like momma as they were already a purple of weeks old when I put them out, so she's pretty much just following them from here to there. We have other geese and I did try to give her some goslings, but she wants to have yucklings instead. Silly Sadie.

Ouch! Wasps are so painful. My 9 yr old, Hudson, was stung 3 times in the face last week (eyelid, corner of eye & bridge of nose). This is just after it happened, but it actually swoll so much it was shiny and purple for a while. Looked like someone socked him in the eye!
I think Alex needs a popsicle or a new breed of chicken to make him forget about it!
