first stop on the way over is Coffee.... Trip should be uneventful... its a brand new hospital good parking access Its In Otay Mesa for any one interested. a farily new community within about four miles from Mexico.

@Blooie Grandma sailed through her Cataract Surgery.... So mom should do fine. But DANG the eye drop medication just before and after has to have someone with OCD to manage it.... Thank goodness for OCD cousins.... she flew down from Carmel to stay with mom to care for her....

I could do it but I cant stay with mom unless I hired someone to stay with grandma....

That is my first stop for early trips! When we left for oregon just before Christmas (up at 5am, left by 530). Coffee stop before the highway!

Well, my friends, tonight we find out how well Scout handles real cold. We are supposed to get down to 20 to 30 below zero, and that's not wind chill but actual air temps. Wind chills are supposed to take it down even further into the "dangerous" category. I already know how I'm gonna handle it. Badly.

Times like these I'm really glad my hobby is quilting and not wordworking! I can sit in my comfy chair with a quilt on my lap and keep snuggly warm while I get something accomplished!
