The Front Porch Swing

Got back last night from a weekend trip to Missouri for my nephews wedding. Now we have to wait until 9am to get the dogs out of doggie jail ... miss the monsters.

There was some issue with a turtle ...

See....see!!!

Right, right... I'm sure that's it.

@Cearbhael
I have black locust trees here too. ( and a lilac bush) I love the smells of spring! I never realized how many bunches of flowers the black locust trees had until we moved to this place three years ago. It is an old farm and the trees have some age to them. When we lived in Germany many years ago they had hedges of lilacs. Just walking through the town was heaven to your nose.

Aren't black locust heavenly? If only they weren't so thorny! Old ones you barely notice but the youngsters are nasty!

Bee - I am leaving my work because we are moving 1500 km away to Quadra Island. Rather the equivalent of moving from Wyoming to Seattle. You are probably chuckling yourself and saying "right, just last week I asked her if she was the one moving to the house on the beach"!

Blooie- be careful if you use my buckef. My usual bucket has a turtle in the bottom!

What a coincidence, Sarah - turtles are my very favorite animal because a turtle doesn't get anywhere unless he sticks his neck out!  We'll put your bucket in the corner with yellow crime scene tape around it.  That should save it for ya!

TURTLE TURTLE TURTLE!!!!
