I have just stubbed and broken my little toe..just seconds ago..and am crying...and yes, it takes a LOT to make me cry in pain. Then I read this and cried even more...sobbed...


..... and then I read this and had to laugh through my tears! You are such a blessing to us, you know that??

That's really scary. Do you realize that you broke your toe right about the time I warned you to duck?? Holy Schmoly! Maybe I have more power than I thought! Maybe.....maybe my prayer hit you on the foot instead of going where it was intended. Maybe...maybe it's all my fault you got hurt! Oh, Bee.l..forgive me! I knew not what I done!!!

Today..well, except for a minute ago when Blooie broke my toe with a prayer bomb

...I have felt like I was just walking around in the hand of God. I've had many days like that in the past 8 yrs but it never ceases to delight and surprise me to be floating above the ground on a cushion of sheer joy and contentment as God pours out blessings so many all over my head.

It's like walking around in a golden haze of pure love, it's that strong of a feeling! I love Him so much!!

Oh, well if it was because of the "bucket seats" then it could have been any of us..Willow, or Peachy or Enola.....maybe Loving...just look around and see who has been relegated to a bucket. But my Story Bucket doesn't count, does it?

luecm, ees, ss, sfh, favs, silkies, barnies, polish, glw, slw. we have around 75 outside n 15 inside n 60 eggs due to hatch

Whoa.....that's quite a variety! I have Buff Orpingtons, Easter Eggers (for the grandkids), Golden Laced Wyandottes, Red Stars, and just added Copper Marans and Speckled Sussex. But they all live in the house right now - dusty little boogers! We'll be starting the coop as soon as Ken gets back from Casper on Monday. Hope they are all living outdoors by this time next week. Thought I'd put a heat lamp out there because this is, after all, Northern Wyoming and it was snowing this morning, but I like Bee's heating pad set up better ----- and as soon as I typed that I remembered what I forgot to pick up at Walmart today. Doggone it!!!

Amen! Been praying for all you gals for days now...and will continue to include you in my prayers. Mostly I just send up thanks to the Lord for you all and ask Him to measure out blessings in abundance on your lives.

Gonna pull up the Story Bucket for a quick one before I go change chickie water and get my shower. Everybody ready?

When Evan was about 5, and he and Tam were still living with us, he was laying on the floor whining about his tummy.
“Evan,” I asked him. “Does it hurt or is it like you feel like you want to throw up?”
There was a pause, then a long, dramatic sigh.
“I think I’ll be alright, Gramma. I think I just have erectile dysfunction.”
I can’t remember what I said or did, I just remember laughing until I cried. But I remember him looking at me and telling me that if he didn’t get medical help in four hours he was gonna die.

I love that kid!!!

And I pity him when he starts to date and these old stories come out......
