Hey girls it's me! The one who sits in the corner not saying much but laughs a lot. I have a question for all of you. Does anyone make maple syrup? We are having a problem with the sugar sand. It is very bad for some reason. I've used the wool filter and the milk egg mixture to rid it but there is still a lot after a few filterings. Does anyone have any tricks?

I imagine not many maples down there. Lol! We have had some amazing runs. We tapped 60 trees and have been getting 60-65 gallons of sap a day.

Got dinner in the oven, baked chicken with sweet potatoes, carrots and onion. the chicken is stuffed with celery, sage, onion and garlic. Will serve with cucumber salad and rice. Smells soooooooooooo good!!! Just one hour left!

Yup, but I figure it I keep up the whining by the time Spring finally gets to Wyoming I'll have already collected an entire butterfly garden via peace offerings.

I love to cook, but got in a funk for the past month and have been bad about it. The kids asked me to stop buying pizza, can you believe that???? So got off my hinney yesterday and got some good food to cook. Yesterday was pulled pork sandwiches with a salad, today chicken, tomorrow the world

And I had leftovers. Cheesy broccoli and rice bake. Ummmmmm Not much besides yours. My daughter lives in Austin so I know it takes me almost 8 hrs to drive one way.
