It was a great morning, and the older 2 kids asked to go back next week! Hubby isn't as thrilled, but he was raised "that you don't have to go to church to worship God!" He doesn't like to be "forced" into it, but seems to enjoy it when he goes.... but then says don't expect him to go all the time....

My kids were always like that too...I never had to make them go to church. They loved church most of the time. I bet if you and the kids go regularly and get involved that he will feel a little left out and want to attend along with you all. Could be the beginning of great things!

That sounds good. One of my girlfriends recently taught me how to make corned beef with a cranberry mustard glaze. Yummy. I've really been craving mustard lately.

Well...my incubation project has been advanced one more step this evening and I was finally able to regulate temps in one setting.  I'll see if I can regulate them where it counts when I get this thing set up.  Can't wait to get this thing started and see if it can be accomplished!    God has helped me greatly with this today.  God is so good! 

Hi Bee ! I believe I seen you post that you are making/have made a DIY incubator ? Care to share the details of how you made it ?

I've had them on occasion and it's sort of a malfunction of the shell gland. Pretty stuff!

I'm still making it! I hope to bring it all together in the place I plan to use it here in the next couple of days. Then I'm going to step out on faith and try it. On day 8 I plan to candle just one of the eggs to see if something is growing. If it is, then I'll start a thread on it and start posting pic and possibly even video of the whole experiment. You know how I love a good ol' fashioned Bee experiment!

I'm testing my heat source as we speak. The true test will be when it's all together with the eggs in it and in its rightful place...I'll have to be vigilant that day and into the night to see how ambient temps affect my heat stability.

Sounds like a great project to undertake. I've been surfing the web for DIY 'bators but haven't attempted anything as yet. Sure would be nice to see it work out for you and just exactly how you went about it.
