@Deb... what you call your rambling I find very interesting! I just have a feeling that there is something for you to do where you don't have to depend on all those people with the big degrees to treat you right ot pay you what they ought to because you don't have all the college degrees. Natural skill and intelligence has got to be worth MORE that college degrees somewhere. I can see you setting up shop at your own place, maybe at home, and people COMING TO YOU and paying you big money to help them. And you ought to set your own price and do the jobs you choose. I just don't see you having that much compitition out there for real. Don't you doubt yourself! God has gifted you with this talent for a reason and He can see to it that that reason is fulfilled. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever about that.

I woke up this morning to find the first pip of my hatch.....on the wrong end of the egg...I rushed and got the pip enlarged.....but it was too late

I opened the egg and it was a big BCM chick.

On a positive note, however, I have another external pip.......and cheeping

I wish I could grow rhubarb. I really miss that.

White Dutch Clover: Bee put me on to this. She is using it between her rows in the garden to keep the weeds out plus it is suppose to help retain moisture. BEE, HELP ME IF I AM WRONG.

You like rhubarb? I love it and wish I could grow it here too. Supposedly if you are in Zone 8, you can grow it. I am in 8b--it would be iffy.

I lost a chick this morning. I think it hatched too early and hadn't absorbed the yolk all the way.it was a bloody mess this morning so I had to get it out of the incubator. Thank goodness I put them in baskets. I will be back in a bit....
