What a cool place! If the building are sound I'd not tear down a one....could be you'll find uses for them. I can only dream of having all that space for housing livestock!

Root Cellar!!!

SCORE! Measure the humidity while you are at it and it can tell you how successfully you'll be able to store root and fruit crops. What a bonus!

I don't know that I've ever had a friend as good as she...scratch that...I KNOW I've never had a friend that good to me, in my whole life. This isn't the only good thing she has done and continually does for me and my mind is just overwhelmed at such kindness from someone I've never even met. I thank God for her every day and can't believe He sent me someone like this in my life. I met her right here on BYC....my bestie, LOVEIGEE! Shout out to my dear sister, Sue!!!

Anyone else out there have a friend like that you want to honor and celebrate? Let it OUT!

That story blessed me and made me cry from the wonder of it all. That last paragraph sums up my relationship with LOVEIGEE/Sue entirely.....you have no idea how she has helped me.

It's so nice and such a blessing when I see and hear such things, it encourages me even through hard times to see Our God is real and works through even people we have not met or in the case od Devin people we don't know.
Thanks bee for sharing yours too.... more confirmation of God's love through his creation.

When I met Sue my faith in my fellow believers was at an all time low....I had left BYC for 9 mo. because of it. Seems like I could find evidence of God in very few people....then God sent me Sue. She embodied the very grace of God in her sunny disposition and unfailing love towards me, even when I was the most bitter.

Then later when I came back to BYC, He sent me many, many more believers with a love of God in their heart and it showed on the pages of this forum. My heart was lifted up, my faith in the Body of Christ restored and the rest is history. With just one soft feather of love from Sue, God restored my soul and brought peace to my heart again....and then the soft feathers of other sweet, kind and gentle folks on here mounted up like a feather bed on which I could rest and take comfort. God is so good to send me all of you wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ!

I can say I did change when I was skinnier... I think I walked a bit taller, got a little sassier.

My ex-husband was a big fellah, my current husband a big fellah.. had a boyfriend inbetween who was a REALLY big fellah. I dated a 'skinny' guy way back in the day as a teen and hated it.. I felt like a freakshow, being the taller and fatter one. Nope, big 'n cuddly is my type

My husband was 400+ lbs at some point.. he wasn't happy, for sure. He's 320ish now, still too heavy, but it's manageable enough. We both want to get to a better weight, so we can do tons of fun things with the kids when they're older. Some things are just hard to do when you're larger (like.. sitting in lawn chairs
