I look better when I'm holding duckies on my lap. Not always convenient.

Yep, perdy! :) And the ducks are perdy too.

:gig   You DO look good with those duckies!  Maybe you could start carrying one in a little purse like Paris Hilton, just to accessorize.  I'm with TW....I think you are beautiful just the way you are!  We should all be so ducky....er...lucky.

Oh oh oh I've got it!! We all need coon skin purses to carry our special little shikin around in. I think I want a Showgirl ...or a big ol' rooster. A big roo would be more my style. LOL

here are my 3 days old pekin ducklings I got 3 days ago. The older Muscovy and pekin ducklings are still adjusting and running away from me. No pictures yet. they are not the best pics, but will do for now. Notice the Lattice on the background? I'm planning to use it on their run an idea I'm stealing from someone here, I think it was Blooie but I may be wrong. I s
I'm a sucker for duckies. :love and to the one with the little boy on the blanket ... And the ones with the broody ... Swoon.

So neighbour's boy calls tonight. His mama Muscovy duck has hatched out a baby chick. I don't know if there's ducklings too. Anything he needs to know about this?

And I'm awondering about veg garden. I'm finding planting and weeding this year a little more back breaking than I used to. So I'm thinking, what do you all think, about making it all perennials. Can you get a decent harvest with just perennials? What other perennials could I add to the mix? Are there annuals you would sadly miss and crave?

So I have chives, rhubarb, strawberries, garlic, spinach, rasberries, squash volunteers from last years dumps, many many herbs, can you live off that? Hoping so.

I want to carry a chick shikin....my back will just not take carrying around one of these bigger tubs of lard. Especially The White Lightning, though he would make a handsome accessory.

Chickenboy will have to trap us each a coon for our coonskin purses..... right after he tells us why he was banned for a bit from trapping. Still waiting on that story.....
