Welcome to the Porch..  I am deb and live in San Diego county.   and Welcome to BYC    I am living with my soon to be 98 year old Grandmother.  My son is 24 and living here as well while he goes to San Diego STate.  Mom is five minutes away in her own house.  I tried to get us all to live in one house but it REALLY woudlnt have worked... LOL

Any hoo I have a house sixty miles away where a neighbor takes care of my horse....  No poultry right now... but one day when I move back.

They are sooo funny when they are little.  I kept mine in a sixty gallon aquarium with slate pieces stacked till they could get out of the water.... I used to feed mine Ghost shrimp and little guppies along with their regular baby turtle food.  When Mine got to be about six inches in diameter they went out to a pond I built them.

Our pond has a bunch of turtles in it. I see them out there sunning about every time I go out. The other day my dog had a tortise in her doghouse!

Hi! I want to visit the front porch. I'm Randi. I live in Arkansas with my husband and two sons. We've kinda started doing the Hobby Farm thing and just living a simpler life. We have dogs and ducks and a turtle.

We love on the same property as my parents and grandparents. It's good to be close to them for several reason. We are here if they need help (no one is getting younger) and they can teach us what they know. Plus I think it's great for my boys to be close to their parents, grandparents AND great grandparents! I hope to make some nice friends on here.

Welcome to The Front Porch! Would you like Sweetened Tea or Unsweetened?? You will find the goodies over by Miss Bee. As you have heard we have another turtle. You have to pick which bucket he is under. We also have a new addition to the many dogs running around--her name is Paisley. Deb, being modest, owns the beautiful horse over yonder. Her name is Katee. Come on by whenever and tell us all about yourself. We love stories and pictures

On a side note, one of our best story-tellers is on a cruise. Her name is Blooie. When she write, it is best not to be eating or drinking. She is hilarious.
