They are HUGE. Be careful of the breeder and ask to see the parents, be next to them, see how they act. Some breeders are turning the Kangals into personal protection dogs and that's not a direction I would go with a dog that big and agile. A little different than Anatolians but still in the same family. This first link describes the difference between the Ani's and Kangals, etc.

These were on a local FB farm page. I'm waiting on a response but the ad says that the parents are working LGD. I will find out details if they ever respond.

I found some G.Pyr. /Kangal crosses... have you ever heard of kangal dogs? I THINK they are similar to Anatolian shepherds.

The cross should be outstanding.... I hope you remember Livestock guardian dogs were bred to think on their own., So you have to reinforce basic skills like come.... LOL...

Kengal is one that historically stayed in with the family when they werent guarding livestock.

These kinds of dogs will follow the flock anywhere they go.... and protect them. So you have to make sure your flock doesnt wandere on other peoples property.

didnt see it but I do know there is an order out to NOT heat with wood. fineable offence in northern California. Gas fireplaces are OK but no Wood.... due to high particulate in the air.... smog.

If I had to choose one right now and was given a choice, the Anatolian would be the breed I'd choose if I had more livestock than I currently have. They've got amazing potential as family dogs also. They also have the advantage of having a shorter coat than the GPs and less of a wandering trait.

I was very stupid..... I have been driving my Grandmas car for errands for about a year now....

Did some errands today... signed papers to take a car off insurance because I sold it.... Went to a diesel truck place to price batteries.... Went to Pep boys to price batteries.... Went to Sushi for lunch.... When I came out Grandmas car was gone.... zip ... .nada....

No keys latched to may purse.... dont remember locking the car. Distracted about the stuff I still needed to do....

Grandma is surprisingly Ok with it..... Lost my manuscript and my walker.....
Police filed a report took my statement and info took grandmas info.... Mom came to the restaurant and picked me up. then Went through the whole thing again with grandmas insurance company.... Tripple A.

I am going to bed soon.
