@Lacy Blues... I don't blame you, I don't have much patience at all for stray dogs. I hope all your birds come out alright. I know how that ticks you off!

Picture of a Walker Coonhound from the AKC.
I really like the fact that sometimes they are used as an alert dog.... Good potty training habits.... Ihave enough acreage to keep one in shape. I have racoons but very few trees just REALLY Big rocks.
They seem to be rare though. so most likely hard to get without breaking the bank.

I used to have a cross eyed tuxedo kitty named Jake.. He would climb the fence like a lineman. He couldnt see to jump up.... One day he came to the back door carrying what looked like a mouse... I said "Hey Jake you caught one" He came in all proud and dropped it on the floor took a bat at it with one six finger paw and missed.... tried again and it rolled further in the room..... "Aww Jake you brought me such a lovely..... Plum" The tree next door had an old rusted car underneath and the tree was a plum tree. .... Another day he brought me a Ball point pen.... Holding it like a mighty hunter by decorative end to keep it from dragging the end.![]()
They are pretty common in this state...folks still coon and bear hunt with these dogs here, so they are still available. Not as common as back in the 80s but still out there.
