The Front Porch Swing

Yes ma'am.  I just put silicone on the ends around the caps and they hold the water just fine.  I drilled holes at the top edge and hung them on the wire with zip ties (cable ties).  When they get dirty I just take a bar towel and wipe them clean and refill.  Easy Pezy.

Great idea.

Don't really have time to peruse but I promise I will later.....just came in for a minute or two to check on my dinner - it's doing great...happily bubbling away in the Ninja!

Quick update - the flashing is in place. Done! The roof is tarred and the roofing material is down Done! The inside of Motel Chix is painted completely. Done! The roost is in place. Done! Pop door and cleaning up the floor left. I may get these little, um, darlings, out yet today!

Okay, back at it. I'll catch up with what everyone's posted when I can sit down long enough, enjoy a glass of tea, and I'm REALLY in the mood for chocolate pudding if anyone is so inclined.

I LOVE THESE COOPS!!!!!! I love the design and the colors...I just love 'em!!! Can you imagine what breeding a person could do with coops like this???? Oh, and I love your husband too!!! The ladies on this porch have some of the most wonderful, loving and talented husbands I've ever heard of!!! Where were they when I was on the prowl, I wonder?

Don't feel stupid. We all get taken at one point or another. Just continue to be your kind lovable self. They will get their just rewards!

Isn't fancy? Isn't fancy?? Isn't fancy??? I love it and it is RED! The sign is perfect. Good to have you back!

I can't go back out without a similar peace offering for Lisa....

Yep, it was a bit nippy going out there to work this morning, but I thought this was soooo pretty! Not as summery and gorgeous as the roses you sent me, but will it do?
Your chocolate pudding and a glass of Iced Tea w/lemon is waiting on you!

Lisa :)

I have 3 eggs in the incubator that were in there for both electrical outages. One of them hatched today :) got my fingers crossed for the other two. These chicks are Araucana/Brown Leghorn crosses. I love blue egg layers!

This chick is proof that incubating eggs is NOT an exact science!

Thank you EVERYONE for all of your compliments.

Bee we had plans of coming your direction this summer on the bike but this is Donald's year to pick where we are going on vacation and he has just about decided on Yellowstone again. He loves it up there. Now next year when I get to pick you can bet it will be North Carolina, Tennessee and maybe we will swing on up to your beautiful state also. I'll make sure and pack all the tools on the bike and we will stop by and give you a hand.

Blooie - I have Snow flakes blowing around my house, are you sending yours my way? Well, STOP IT! We are sunny and in the upper 30s, but have these white flakes blowing through on the 40 mph winds... 76 mph was the highest wind gust so far today.
Glad to hear you are getting alot done on the coop today. Hoping you get it done enough to get the little stinkers out of Ken's office.

Had a cleaning service here all day, house looks great but it smells really chemically. DH insisted on hiring them, he figured it was needed to get the house cleaned in time for the open house next weekend. Can't wait for them to be done and leave so I can set out some bowls of vinegar to freshen the house up.

Does the Leghorn/Araucana cross make a blue egg layer? Colors could be fun!
