Praying for healing to all those not feeling well. Is no one else here from MD, I didn't see it on the list.

After a bit the site doesn't let me edit the first page, so I could no longer add states or countries any longer but I know we have MD here. If not, a shout out to MD!

Welcome to The Front Porch! We have all kinds of seating: hay bales, porch railings, rocking chairs, swings, buckets, etc. Would you like a glass of Sweetened Tea (with Mint) or Unsweetened? All the goodies are over by Miss Bee. Come sit down and hear a story or two. We got some of the best story tellers on this porch.

Lisa :)

Thanks Texas Lisa and Bee, I'll sit on the rocking chair and I bring some English hot tea with milk, ginger and some spices enough to share. This morning is sunny looking great. Going to Church in a couple hours n I'll be back for the stories.

Love love love ginger tea. Great for the circulation. In the giving spirit I'll bring a basket full of goodies for the critters. Some meat treats for the dogs playing on the front lawn, carrots for Katee the Percheron, and a lettuce leaf for the turtle under the bucket.

A beautiful and blessed Sunday to you all. We are back outside today completing the fence and pasture for my Scottish Highland heifers that arrive tomorrow morning. Still have a lot to do as this fence was a real learning curve for us. Took us much longer than expected and cost more than I had planned, but that seems to be the way most of our projects go. The man we are getting them from told me yesterday that the older heifer might be arriving with a surprise. He thinks she is due to calf any time.

That is both exciting and scary at the same time as this is our first experience with any kind of cattle. Seems like we are always trying something new. Our postman raised quail and had too many eggs to hatch so he dropped of 2 dozen the other day for my incubator. Guess our next project after building out the interior of the new coop will be a run and shelter for quail. Any ideas would be appreciated.! Any of you hatched quail?
