On the dog safety issue I wanted to help, my daughter wants to be a vet and train dogs here. Shes a savant when it vomes to animals. She recommended DOGWIDGETS or DOGTRA. You can find them locally. Dogtra can work on multiple dogs with one receiver. Dogwidgets she said works on single dog. If you want more inside info PM me and I can get her to answer any questions.

Just for you Bruce!

I need to get pictures of the two sets of double doors leading off the dining and living rooms.

Gorgeous! I love the built in secretary and the bench on the stair landing. Nice rise/run on the stairs, especially given the (presumed) age of the house. The tapered box post suggests it might be a craftsman/bungalow style house. All that mahogany, imagine what it would cost to build that now. (OK, don't!!). I can see why you are considering having a replacement front door made. It would be a shame to put anything else there. I bet you had to work some to get past all that beauty to make sure you weren't ignoring any potential problems.

Just saw Linda. She's awake and talking - well, whispering - and handled this morning's dialysis well. She said, "Hold my hand." When I could finally see her hand through my tears, I took it.

There was a little half smile. "You held my hand the whole time and I didn't let go." A little pause while she took a breath. "I knew if I let go you'd come and find me."

Thank you God, for Linda and for my amazing family. I am in no hurry to leave this Earth - I don't want to miss one precious moment with them. And thank you, my new found friends, for the prayers and support.

And I know you posted the woodwork for Bruce. Is it okay if I peeked too? WOW!
