My name is Rachael and I am a long time sufferer, please don't laugh, it is a serious condition and hard to treat. Chickens do help though!
When I was hatching, I loved using the egg cartons. I would still hand turn (until I got my turner), basically angle them to one side then angle them back. Worked well, kept them in place while others were hatching. Seemed to also give them a more stable egg to "push" out from. After I got the turner, I still used them at "lock down".
edited to add: yes big end up
Blooie I can only say if it was me I would at least make sure to bring the meclazine/dramamine along just in case.Yup. Here I was all set to gently disagree with you but I looked it up - you're absolutely right! That's so surprising and interesting that my neurologist would specifically prescribe Meclazine over Dramamine for me, and that our GP would continue with that prescription. I told my neurologist that I was taking Dramamine at first when the vertigo was causing such "dickness" but he said specifically that the Meclazine 35 mg would be his recommendation. The only difference that I've been able to find is that Dramamine comes in lots of formulas and supposedly Meclazine is the "non-drowsy" formula. It could be made of chicken feed for all my tummy cares when I want fast relief of that doggone nausea, so I think the speed of my relief is most likely psychological - it seems to work faster therefore it must be faster! If I get it prescribed, I get it for free since I met my annual deductible with the last stenting procedure....I like that! Teehee
Don't think I'll mention this to Tam...if she thinks she's getting a stronger med with less drowsiness then maybe she'll have the same psychological benefits that I get, along with the physical ones! Oh, I am evil and must be destroyed. Stupid question then...at first I didn't think I'd even need it, although I knew Tam probably would. With a history of vertigo (basically resolved since the Epley maneuver but still popping up once in rare while) is seasickness something I even need to think about? I wasn't worried about it, but all this talk has made me start second guessing. I've never been on a cruise before and a couple of our planned excursions are on smaller boats - whale watching and such. What do you guys think?![]()
Welcome back Sara! Your new digs look so cool and green and inviting...inviting....Invite - HEY, did you Porch Perchers hear that invitation to invade Sara's place? Last one there is a fertilized egg!
Momma, "washibator"? Seriously? This group is trying to give my little spellchecker dude appolexiy... um, applepixie... um, a stroke.![]()
Oh, my WORD! There's a mental picture I could have done without!Blooie I can only say if it was me I would at least make sure to bring the meclazine/dramamine along just in case.
Seems like if you plan for trouble you won't have any. Sure would hate to mess up a nice vacation. Besides you have that beautiful blue dress, and I don't think it will look as nice if you are hurling over the railing into the ocean.
That one sentence brought tears to my eyes. He knows what he is doing doesn't he?Blessings and gratitude to our military families who have made the ultimate sacrifice. May we not let you down.
Katie and Kendra...sisters forever. God could not have placed Kendra in a home with more love than the one He chose for Kendra!
Evan the disc jockey reading to Kendra, just out of sight in the picture.
What a CUTIE! I love the "card".Good Morning! Happy Memorial Day! Please take the time to remember those who sacrificed so that we may live freely! Prayers for everyone!
Today is my littlest one's birthday! We had her party on Saturday. Busy day.... I've already dusted the chickens as I let them out one by one. We are waiting on our new washer, dryer, and upright freezer to be delivered from Lowe's. They are running a great sale and credit offer. The ones we bought were all on sale, with an additional 10% off, plus no interest on the credit card for 18 months! Since we have been talking about getting them, it was really too great of a "deal" to not go ahead and do it! Plus Hubby got a new grill.

Ivemectin. Buy through Amazon or wherever Just put a few drops per lb for dogs 2 I think. Add a few drops to chicken to keep off mites and fleas.
He does indeed. Katie has a theory about why Kendra is her little sister. She had such a hard time in the beginning - Jenny and I gone in Denver for 6 weeks, being shuffled from Grampa's to Daddy's to Aunt Tammy's, and she was so brave. My favorite picture was taken the day the NICU nurses gave us permission to bring my computer to the unit and I set up Skype. It's a shot of all of them - Kenny, Katie and Evan at home, Jenny holding Kendra in the hospital. It was the first time they'd all been in the "same room" and Jenny was telling them we'd be home the next day. That night and early morning we almost lost Jenny, and were delayed several more days. That one sentence brought tears to my eyes. He knows what he is doing doesn't he?
