Is there something we can do? I mean people are entitled to freedom of speech here aren't they?

I don't believe in God, but after I read one of Bee's prayerful posts I go out in the garden and look at it from her point of view and smile. We don't have to believe the same to enjoy one another's perspectives.

Either they don't notice it ISN'T clean so won't notice when it is or they really don't like cleaning toilets and are glad it was done but the "cleaning fairy".

As you porch sitters know, my girls and I spent several fun hours with Leslie last week. If I had not been aware of some of her health issues before I wouldn't know now, any more than she would know my older daughter's head is totally messed up because neither exhibited anything other than 'normal activity'. So, as with someone who looks physically "OK" using a handicapped parking space, do not presume they are just lazy if they don't jump in to help because their disability may be "invisible".

I love cleaning toilets! I don't know why ... I do think toilet water is icky ... but it is such a service, I feel important when I do it.

After Bruce and his girls left, Dad was confused about if there actually had been a sick young woman in the house (as well as this "old" one). It was a lively visit. I think Dad thought I was fibbing. But it was great to have everyone having a "good" day together.

@LindaB... tell your daughter to set a live trap with some feed in it. Some stinky canned food might work.
 
LindaB220 - about the little lost dog - if your DD knows sorta of the place the dog is, does she have the time to go out there and just sit and be still - read a book or something. Put out a plate with a tasty treat or yummy food for it but just sit and be still. The poor little thing is so scared of everything, maybe a friend who lets her come to her at her speed would work. Don't chase her or grab for the pooch, wait till it comes up to her. Speak softly to the dog, using the dogs name, but don't stare at it, look out of the corner of your eye to locate it, but direct eye contact may send it scurrying again.
