This is Marta, a 14 weeks old Partridge Penedesenca from Meyer hatchery. Supposed to be a pullet, but are those sickle feathers on the tail?! I hope not because I was really looking forward to some chocolate brown eggs!

Well... My suspicions were wrong! Marta laid HER first egg today! That feather in her tail turned out to be just a stray feather that fell out a few days later.
