My little Cochin frizzle roo, Freddy, who never really grew much and is half the size of all of his ladies,is still the "King of the Coop". When they are all out in the yard and I am paying attention to one of the girls, sometimes I will feel this little peck on my ankle, turn around and there will be Freddy, giving me this sideways look like, "Hey, what's goin' on?" He will also "ba-gawk" back when I call him and flap his wings and run across the yard to me (no flying with those frizzly wings, but he thinks he's flying)

When we put the new chicks in the pen with the big ones my Randy (Barred Rock rooster) takes care of the little ones and makes sure the hens don't hurt them. He is a great Mr. Mom.
