Arron made a gust of wind that kept him upright. He made a little vacuum of air so that if she were to shift gravity again, he wouldn't move. "You trying to make me mad?"
Jessica watched the others fighting. In her distraction, a small fire lit in her hand, and spread to her notebook, starting to burn her work.
Kya swiftly walked down the hall to the media center/meeting room, where Chronoia spent most of her time. One wall was covered mostly with a giant monitor, with normal monitors lining around it. In the bottom left corner there was a small monitor showing vital stats of someone, but Kya had no idea who.
Chronoia turned. "Did you get them?"
"We got two of them. Anna and Annabelle, I believe."
"Good. Where are they?"
"Room 64, C Section."
Chronoia entered something into a pad she had in her hand and the large monitor changed to a view of the room. "You may go," Chronoia said, realizing Kya was waiting for her to say that. She sat down on a chair and watched the screen as Kya walked away.
Blake left the half-finished building and walked in the direction of the store. He got a small amount of money from a job and used it on food. he pulled up his black hoodie over his head. He walked toward a girl and her dog farther down the sidewalk, watching them warily, like they would take the little money he had. He stumbled and almost fell on an uneven slab of the sidewalk, but caught himself. He walked on like nothing had happened.
