John looked around again, feeling that there was someone else watching him. He noticed Blake and watched him for a moment before speaking "Hello"

Gretchen made a face, "I think fate has issues with me." She began scooping up mail. Her back was itching, the way it always did when she was nervous. Just as it always did when the wings were starting to sprout…She tried to focus on calming down enough to force them back. She could only imagine how Matthew would react to Chicken Girl.

(Mantha! I saw you viewing! *throws furious tantrum* {Kidding, kidding. About the tantrum, anyways… })

John glanced around "Shh, please don't..." He looked back at her and nodded "Yeah, I'm still learning to control it, but yeah"

Marissa just stood there mouth open in shock, she had never experienced this! what was this anyway?

Blake's mist got denser and taller. It was up to his knees, and, instead of dispersing it like he normally would've done, he let it stay there, observing their reactions.

Marissa felt exposed as though someone had just seen her naked. what the heck was going on, not only did someone just see her.....vines, someone spoke to her through the mind, and she had this creeping feeling like someone was watching her. plus her dog had run back home without her, probably leaving her grandmother to worry. with all this stress the vines came back to life and surrounded her, this time at her command, "just, just stay away please, i don't want to hurt you." she said standing there breathing heavily, she was freaking out right now.

Mathew grinned, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, probably."

Gretchen grinned in return, her back itching fiercely. She resisted the urge to scratch. That never helped.

John looked back to her and stepped away a short distance "Sorry, It's just...To meet someone else who has a gift like me..." He shrugged and glanced around, unable to shake that feeling that he was being watched.

Jean climbed down from the treehouse and came over to John. She glanced to Marissa and her vines, then looked to John "I need help with my homework, mom'll be home soon and it needs to be done."

Marisa looked at him and ignored the girl, "like me? nobody is like me! im a freak, im... i don't know what i am." she said sinking down to the ground. she created a ball of vines around her so nobody could hear her cry. she just wished her parents were here to help here.

Jean looked over to Marissa then walked closer "Hey, it's alright" She said and sat down in the grass nearby "None of us are 'freaks' just different" She tried to use her healing to calm the other girl.
