John moved to stand by Jean, looking around for the source of the voice "Hello"

Jean sat back and glanced to John, then to the letters formed in front of them
 
Marissa felt calmer, but she stayed in her orb talking to herself. "its okay Marissa, your just having a dream. this isn't real." she kept saying to herself. at some point she accepted it was real and stood up, she unraveled her vines a little bit and peeked out the hole, she heard a voice say hello but couldn't see any other person besides the two in front of her.
 
Jean jumped and turned

'What was that for' John asked Blake in his mind.
 
"Reactions." said Blake simply The black letters changed to, "lolz :P" He looked down at his hands. They were visible again. "Oh, good. Turning invisible really gets on my nerves, you know?" He pulled his hood forward even more, and dispersed the black fog. It compacted into a sphere in his palm and he closed a fist around it, making it all disappear except for a tendril of darkness, which he spun around his finger, bored.
 
Bones grated beneath Gretchen's back. She knew if she felt her back, she would find two bulges with feather shafts (though she wouldn't feel the shafts through her clothes). She somehow managed to put them back, but a feather drifted down from inside her shirt and floated softly to the ground in front of Matthew.
