Hey folks! I haven't posted on this thread in ages. Hello, Adam. This thread needs more posts (are we going to make it? By the snail pace it's been moving at recently, I'm not entirely sure.)

I was at the Powerhouse Museum in sydney yesterday, it was an absolute blast. Got to lift heavy blocks of iron by just cranking a little handle, it was meant to display the power of air pressure, or somethin'. :p Also steam engines, although that display wasn't working. o.o

There were these planes suspended on the roof of the transport hall too, as well as airline ads decades old. That was cool. Oh, and some computer thing where you could act as the NSW transport minister and try to bring about some changes.

Sounds awesome, Fier!

Another game was this thing called Water Works, in which you had to try to supply enough water for the city by "pumping" water from the dam, "recharging" the filter and the sewerage plant, with three different fingers on the touchscreen. It was hell hard. I could barely FEEL my fingers afterwards. lmao. But I got #2 on the highscores list on one computer.

lol yes, it was, we even got a free newspaper afterwards, in which I could check my falling stock prices and engage in a few acts of facepalm.

There was also a plasma ball. I SO want a plasma ball now. I looked at the explanation and pretty much cracked up, we've been doing all this first ionisation energy and the electromagnetic spectra emitted as electrons return to ground state in chem. Glee.

Also tried to construct my own virtual firework but I got the chemical choices wrong apparently because my rocket didn't get off the ground. :p I did some googling, hopefully I'll go better next time.

Watch this space, I'll have pics for you soon! I took a lot from the top of the Harbour Bridge Pylon, which was seven shades of awesome, 100m amsl and you could go up for only $6.50.

Oh my God, ROBER is doing everything today, they've got the vectors from 190 down to ten mile final AND departures! What time is it in New York?! I'd think it was around peak hour!! :th This is crazy. It's actually quite hilarious. Someone's enjoying themselves.
"NY Departures, 120.85, twenty eighty five, good evening!!"
And don't we all love the phrase "2000 till established" by now. It's so busy.
