random question

how do you ship eggs without them breaking?
Well, I have never gotten eggs sent to me for 3 reasons
1. lower hatch rate(i think)
2. you never know what might happen to them
3. I don't have an incubator
They come i a box with CAUTION HATCHING EGGS INSIDE on the outside and the inside i think is like egg cartons with maybe paper in the box

Theres lots of different ways, some people pack them securely in cartons with newspaper to prevent them from moving in the box. Some people use foam, some use bubble wrap, some use a combination of all them. I've had eggs shipped to me in popcorn!

Generally yes you will get a lower hatch rate because of the bumping around and different temperatures during shipping. Shipping eggs is always a gamble but sometimes its the only way to get the birds you want, especially in Canada where rare birds are not as easily obtained as they are in the US.
